Coronation Street

I agree, Jazzi.
Is it all coming to a head now?

He was packing his bags by the looks of it, but won’t that make him look even more guilty if he does a runner?
I suppose he might be going to ‘fake’ his own death to get off the hook maybe?

If Anna gets sent down though (or not) I wonder if the marriage can survive now? Has Eileen finally woken up and smelt the coffee? Will Seb’s life be in danger now? Will the police ever find out the truth?

Too many questions, not enough satisfactory answers for the viewers…

I think he purchases a Canoe.

The director of last aired episodes has been sacked after being caught in a sting by the police and is now facing charges.

Very sad.

I suppose he’s written a few in hand so the storylines will continue on the same path for a while. Perhaps some new blood might bring something new to the street. It just makes you wonder though about the entertainment business, they seem to be awash with perverts…Who next?

It’s about time Phelan was taken to task, it’s getting boring now.
And if there is ever a lull on the street give someone a baby with strings attached or spice up the gay scene…Sometimes I wonder why I watch it…:102:

That is so true Foxy. :023:

Perhaps he’s the one who has been pushing all of this same-sex kissing (and more).

I find it a bit of a turn-off, although I haven’t yet turned off the programme yet.

The lesbian version isn’t too bad, mind you!

It’s the other one, Emmerdale which is getting worse IMO JBR.
There’s Charity and Vanessa don’t seem to be averse to either sex now!

Well, that’s OK then, because Coronation Street is the only one we watch.

By the way, come on Phelan. Do some more interesting nasty things!

My first post

Just joined up, pleased there is a Corrie thread as I’ve always watched it, right from the start. Good to chat with others about the plots.

Welcome Sally

I’m more engrossed in the 1985 ones currently being shown on itv3. Bet is just about to marry Alec , Brian is still alive and married to Gail, Martin is just a young teen, Sara Lou is a baby

All good fun

Good for you, and welcome!

To be honest, I’d have thought you’d be an Eastenders fan, but then from what I’ve seen it’s just about shouting and arguing, isn’t it?

Yes, I’ve watched it since it first started in the early '60s; the days of Ena Sharples and Len Fairclough. Real characters in those days.

Sadly, I’m afraid it’s gone all PC these days, although we still watch it every time.

Why would you think I’d be an Eastenders fan?

Because you live in London. Nothing to be ashamed of, of course!

I am an East Londoner, born and bred, and can’t stand Eastenders!! I’ve always preferred Emmerdale and Corrie.

Of course. Northerners are much more civilised, aren’t they?

I don’t live in London.

What does it say at the top of all of your posts?

It may well say London but I’m hardly going to put exactly where I live now am I.

Why put a location at all if that’s the case Sally, it’s not compulsory…:102:
