Coronation Street

The last two episodes were so boring on Monday evening … can’t think of a single occurrence worth mentioning.

OGF got it right!!

(As read in my new tv guide…storyline for the following week.)

I don’t know what TV mag Jazzi gets, but in my ‘TV choice’ I read about the lift drama. So now I don’t need to watch it.

I get What’s On Tv, Emjay, and they have two pages of columns, giving day by day snippets of storylines, of all soaps, Corrie, Emmerdale, Stenders, Doctors, Hollyoaks, and the two Aussie ones, then at the bottom, clues of the following week.

I even know what name Leanne gives to her new baby!

I also know Emjay, I get the same TV Mag as Jazzi.

I get ‘TV choice’, and Jazzi gets ‘What’s on TV’.

I get Whats on TV’

So do I, most of the time:-)

Anyway, half the Street now know about the existence of the coke, the drug squad will have a field day.

They probably overheard the conversations in the pub and cafe. Voices weren’t exactly lowered!

It’s interesting that some people here know what’s coming in the script.

Personally, I think that how stories develop in Coronation Street (or Queer Street!) are often quite predictable!

My wife and I have a game along these lines. We each predict what will happen next week (or next episode) and as often as not one of us is correct.

When it comes to Todd and the randy vicar, we are ALWAYS correct!

What do you mean that wasn’t pepper in that silver egg shaped pot in the cupboard…Oh bugger! I’ve just eaten Rory’s ashes…

How come there are so many criminals on the cobbles just lately…David still walks free after nearly killing Anna with his dangerous Driving…
That slimeball from the Tanning Studio is grooming Bethany.
Phelan walks free after ripping off most of the residents and then doing for Andy…
Rosie and Adam are dealing Columbian Marching Powder…
Todd has been complicit with Phelan, and goes around kissing vicars…Okay, so that’s not illegal now but it just makes me feel sick.

Oh, just typical Mancunians, really!

I feel sorry for all the devoted Old Folks, who have to process this shite.

It used to bring more comfort to an old person than a favourite blanket and a mug of Horlicks…But now…Put the milk on I’m off to bed.

Didn’t you know it all happens in just one street!!

So Leane had a baby in the lift.
So where do we start with the bad acting.
No sweat, not drop.
Wow she looked as fresh as a daisy after the birth. Not a hair out of place.
I noticed the firefighters were there. What no crow bars?

No umbilical cord.
No afterbirth.

Not very realistic.

My thoughts exactly. And why is it you never see women in labour removing their drawers?? Do we assume they don’t wear any?

And for a first birth this was a quick labour.

And was I the only one asking where Rover was as Steve and Michelle walked across the sand to the water’s edge.

The scattering of the baby’s ashes was incredibly moving. It had me in tears.

There’s an acting award there for Kim Marsh - has to be.

I’m afraid I’m becoming increasingly bored with that particular storyline.

They need to move on.
