I had to laugh at the sight of Chesney and Daniel attempting to fight - talk about handbags at dawn … Chesney must be the most uninteresting, whey faced actor ever. His facial expressions remind me of Les Dawson when he dressed as a gossipy old woman and screwed up his toothless mouth.
Not watched it yet, as was expecting a phone call and set to record.

Probably best for Bill Roache to retire. Peter could step up as the male lead in the household, as he seems to look out for the others, and could be the only one to keep them under control.
Or go into a retirement home/sheltered housing. Or a visit to someone somewhere, something to explain an absence. I’d hate for him to die to be written out.
