She just felt that Coronation street was her home and where her friends lived. After all she had never known her son, so he was almost a stranger, and I am sure I would not want to move to the other side of the world, with a stranger that I hardly knew… even if I had given birth to him.
He will be a good reason for her to take long breaks from the series though… when she goes on holiday to visit him.
She saw how upset Norris was when they said goodbye. She went to the airport but later there was a knock on Norris’s door and there she stood. “How can I leave all my friends” she said and they hugged.
Huh - you’d think at least she’d have gone for a holiday wouldn’t you?
I think she still has a secret “Hankering” for Norris.

Rhian-my granddaughter gave birth to a baby girl on Monday,so now I’m a “Hen Mamgu”.
Thought the acting in that heartbreaking scene on Corrie was really good.
Let me guess: a ‘hen mamgu’ = a mother hen? 
My goodness, I only just heard the tail end of this on the lunchtime news, but they were saying internet trolls have been attacking the two actors in Corrie over that baby death scenes, and taking the mick.
It has prompted simon Gregson to tweet back, even swearing at them for taking the mick. He told them how serious it is and that he and his wife have lost 11 babies over the years.
A lady on the news said 15 babies every day are dying before/during/ or immediately after birth.
I think we on here know all about internet trolls, naming no names of course.
What can you do? Someone in government some time ago decided to reduce or remove many mental health services and that we should rely on ‘help in the community’.
Interesting times, Steve now has one baby (with someone else), and Roberts declaration may have been the shock that caused Michelle to Miscarry, but the complication of the potential baby is no longer a consideration, what will Michelle do?
I watched the episode and it didn’t even make my eyes go moist … I did wonder whether that having not so long ago lost a baby Michelle was really crying and it must have been a very painful scene to act.

I thought the same Spit…I really think Michelle and Robert would make a great couple…
The scene didn’t affect me, probably because I’ve never had children, but it was well acted. I reckon Michelle will drift apart from Steve and end up with Robert - until the next merry-go-round of partner swapping.
