Coronation Street

Well I think they can’t make up their minds what to do with Kit, they keep changing him from being a goody to a baddy, but remember he was a bent cop originally and don’t think he’s really changed. Genetic probably, look who his mother is!

Helen, as the saying goes, the apple never falls far from the tree.

True Jazzi, there always used to be one bad egg on the street, now you’re lucky to find one good one, they’re all at it… :009:

Has there even been a straight copper on the street Helen? Even Constable Tinker had some skeletons in his locker. Wasn’t Kit using it against him at one time?

Poor old Tinker, he was one of the few likeable characters in it.

So apparently grasping someone around the throat while making love enhances the experience, but the down side is that you could have a stroke…I must tell Mrs Fox… :astonished:
Is Kit going to throw away his career to protect Sarah?
Had they got married if she had never murdered Theo, next year we would probably be watching either one of them (or both) having affairs or turning burtie…
You’ve only known her five minutes Kit…Move on mate…and do your job!

There’s two ways of interpreting that … a stroke hey. :face_with_hand_over_mouth:
On a serious note … apparently some people are willing to risk suffocation, strangulation … accidents can happen. I’m more of a romantic myself …

@Chilliboot … oh yes, Crossroads. Watched it every day till it ended.
After some of the rubbish we get now it doesn’t seem that bad does it.

Brookside…Now there was a soap to watch…The first lesbian kiss…
:astonished:

The latest storyline involving Betsy and Dylan, is a bit ‘dark’ for my liking - it’s a far cry from the days of Elsie Tanner and Ena Sharples.

Absolutely Anise, I’ve been watching the classic Coronation Streets in the afternoon and the story lines are so refreshing and interesting, none of this gangsta stuff or unwanted sexual content, and the acting is far superior than today. Characters remain true to themselves unlike today’s offerings where they all have a skeleton in the cupboard or as you say…A dark side.
I can’t think of one character who hasn’t robbed, murdered, committed adultery, set fire to something, taken drugs, or done a stretch at his majesty’s service…
