How long ago did you last watch Corrie, Morty?
Do you remember Archie Shuttleworth, the Undertaker who paid court to Blanche Hunt (Deidre Barlow’s Mother) and to Audrey Roberts, over 20 years go?
George Shuttleworth is Archie’s son and he inherited his Undertaker’s business.
When he first came in, George provided the kind of light relief that Fred Elliott used to provide, I say, I say, tha remembers Fred Elliott?!
George has been a bit more serious since Eileen Grimshaw left him - she went on Celebrity Jungle then went back to Corrie looking like a different person after a big life change ( or a big cosmetic “makeover” ) - then she left the Street to visit her other son Jason in Thailand to help him run a bar there - I think someone should “text her” and let her know that her son Todd is in big trouble - I’m sure Eileen would soon sort the abusive controller Theo out if she came back and saw what he was doing to her Todd!
(Note to self : am I becoming too invested in the lives of the Coronation Street characters? )

Now this sounds more like it! I can’t remember the undertaker but I CAN remember Eileen Grimshaw and Fred Elliott.
You know one day I may just have to have a peep at it and see what it’s like.
Would you believe it I can remember yonks ago I used to dash through my jobs, get the dishes washed so I could put my feet up with a cuppa to watch it … when it was totally unmissable.

I’ve just watched that bit where Theo smashes Todd’s face into the mirror on Youtube!
This is a far cry from Hilda nagging Stan and Vera moaning at Jack. It’s a bit heavy isn’t it.
Oh, the chap playing Theo is a good intense scary actor but Todd wasn’t so good … a bit wooden. He must just be scared.
