Well done Jazzi I felt exactly the same. The recent storylines are abysmal and do not represent what the soap was originally intended to project.
I can tolerate gay people like the next man, I have had some very good gay friends, but it’s not what I would call entertainment and I don’t think it portrays gay people in a very good light…
Why doesn’t Tod just chuck Theo out into the street and be done with him. Also his good for nothing lying little scrag of a daughter. They are taking the urine…
I stopped watching Coronation Street a few days ago. Just got fed up with it …or so I thought. It has become a habit or ritual rather than an interest and like all such things, difficult to stop. It’s a job not to be drawn back in when that music starts but I’m going to persist. It will get easier with time.
I switched off minutes to the end last night once I saw Todd and James together. What a mismatched couple!! I usually record so I can FF bits. Maybe next time…
You’re right Jazzi, the street has reached new lows and topics.
I know what you are saying Mart and I should do the same, but it keeps my timing running smoothly. I do all the cooking through the week and at 8:00pm all the pots are washed and the kitchen is returned to it’s pristine condition. By then, I’m only good for collapsing on the sofa and watching anything that might be on telly. It’s more of a rest really, and at 8:00pm the choice is not that appealing on other channels. So I watch the street and have a quick peruse on the forum…Providing that there isn’t a good film on at 9:00pm…(film 4)
Unless it’s a really good film (rare these days) I turn in at 10:30pm because I can’t keep my eyes open…Mrs Fox has had at least 3 hours sleep in her recliner by then…
Being awake for more than sixteen hours is quite enough for me…
