Cold in Canada

I just signed up. Cannot sleep and I am feeling a little chilly. I suppose I could get up and close the window but I’m feeling a bit lazy and wanted to say hello.

Hi

Hello and welcome, hope you enjoy it here.

How cold is cold?

Just a heavy frost here, but the sun is shining.

Welcome to the forum and do try to stay warm. Won’t be too difficult. Overtime you will find some warm hearted people here…

It’s 3 degrees celsius here but feels like minus 3. I should just toss a blanket over myself until the sun comes up. LOL

Thank you.

Hello and welcome to the forum

Welcome from me too.

Hello  a very warm welcome to Over50sForum …

Hello Jaime  welcome, I look forward to chatting with you.

Hi Lizzie and welcome, its cold here as well at the moment. Sooner it warms up the better. Plenty of fun and interesting topics on here.

Thank you Nom. I was quite surprised to find a forum for people my age … the over 50 crowd. I agree with you about warming up. We had some very warm weather here a few days ago, over 20 celsius but now it is cold again. As long as it doesn’t snow. April weather in Ontario, Canada is very bipolar.

Thank you Meg. We need a like button here.

Your welcome Lizzie, always wanted to visit Canada, especially the wilderness areas in the North, there are a few fellow Canadians on here.

How far up north? I considered moving to Elliot Lake once. That was as far north as I was willing to go at that time.

Me, I’d love to visit the UK. So much history there and such lovely countryside.

A lot of my friends visit Point Pelee (inn the South) for the spring bird migration, but although im a bird lover somewhere like Yukon would be an experience,
. If i ever win the lottery Canada and New Zealand are top of my list to visit, and perhaps settle.

I know where Point Pelee is. I live here remember.

If I win the lottery my go to places are England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Austrailia, New Zealand, Japan and Hawaii and I would move from Ontario to British Columbia. Milder weather there and mountains!!

Welcome from me as well Lizzie, have fun on this likeable forum!

Welcome from me too, a chilly wind has just blown up here this afternoon too.

Hello and welcome, Lizzie. I spent a lot of summers in Ontario in my childhood. Loved it and sometimes wished I had moved there permanently.

Hello Jaimie, welcome to our forum, we are a friendly bunch on here.
Its very cold and windy here in Essex.
Looking forward to your chats.
