Cold in Canada

Good afternoon Jaime darlin’ and welcome. Like you I too am thawing out, following yet another stint on the ‘picket line’ outside my local hospital in support of the junior doctors.

Ooooo, I like the way you spelled my name.
I might use that … haha!!

Is there a doctor’s strike?

I just switched from another forum I am reading. There is a huge murder trial happening in my city right now and reporters are tweeting the testimonies from the courthouse onto this forum and the testimony is riveting. Google the Tim Bosma case if you want to learn about it but basically these 2 guys murdered and incinerated this poor man (Tim Bosma) in order to steal his truck and from the testimonies in the last 6 weeks these guys are 100% guilty.

Plenty of room. You could still move here.

Hi and welcome Lizzie/Jaime. Just jump in and enjoy yourself. I’ve wasted the best months of my life on here!

Awesome. Being currently disabled I have lots of time to waste.

You and me both Jaime darlin’ - go look at my profile - have enough metal implants to cause trouble going through ‘security’ at airports!!!

I have a very arthritic left knee and ankle. Some days I have real trouble just standing up never mind walking but with the help of my trusty walker, I manage somehow. I’m due for weight loss surgery in the next 12 months so with luck that will (I hope!!) take 300 pounds off the knees, ankles and legs.

Don’t you carry a medical card for going through airport security? I don’t know how that works.

Thanks Bob.

Thanks. Shame about the chilly wind.

Hello Lizzie and welcome, where are you in Canada? My cousin and family are living in Montreal for a few years, while he’s on a company contract. They are back over here for a month, at present, and are finding our unseasonal cold weather quite warm.

Hello and welcome from me too.

Hello Lizzie and a very warm welcome to you.
It’s been freezing cold in Dublin for the last couple of days, we have the fire lighting now at 8.15 pm.

I’m near Hamilton, Ontario.

Thank you.

Thank you for the welcome. Keep warm.

Hello Lizzie, you might be close to me, southern ontario, been cooler here for the past week.

Nice to see I have a neighbour here. It’s been a bit too cool for me. Where is the heat??? I want HEAT!!!

Lizzie…yes it’s much warmer here in Vancouver, but so expensive!

Received notification about this thread and discovered I had missed the first two pages…Welcome again Lizzie; someone mention a murder and I thought; Lizzie, “some folks say she didn’t do it, others say of course she did, but, they all agree that Lizzie was a problem kind of kid”.
