Chit Chat Thread (Part 2)

Janet, what did you do the first time it happened?

Yes, Susie’s OH recommends getting it to Nissan for them to do a diagnostic check, but they are in Gt Yarmouth. Unfortunately it is near the bridge that has been closed due to a fire. Sister said it took her two hours to get to work today.

Barry, that is what concerns me. Carol, I had called the RAC the last time it happened, and stayed with the car while waiting. Over 5 hrs. By the time they turned up, it started perfectly! Of course it did. But his computer check just came up with ā€˜speed sensor’. So the next day I contacted a garage and got it to them, but his computer said there was no fault.

This left me thinking, well, okay, it has righted itself, and it got me to London last year, and home, and was no further trouble.

I might get the RAC out to look again. They could get me to a garage. I don’t need the car for a few days so will try Monday. If I can limp to a garage myself I will do that.

Morning all, nice and sunny here.

Off to do our weekly shopping.
Later eating out for lunch in Gorleston.

Have a nice day all.

Morning folks.

Went to bed about 9.15, slept straight off for 4 hours, then struggled to drop back off. Awake at 6, kids next door also. Argh. Think when I get home with the dog I will go back to bed.

Good morning all.
Nice here again, but for how long?
Yes it’s Saturday again, laundry being done, Minnie and I have been out.
So what else can I do? I should get the vacuum cleaner out… Might do that.

@Emjay, been meaning to ask you. What is going on with that building site opp the entrance to Morrisons, that is still a concrete shell? Or not going on, as the case may be? That was started long before I left London. I was surprised to see that works appear to have stopped. Ta.

good morning , a beautiful sunny morning, Ive seen a blackbird collecting nesting material from my garden .
I think it will be a weekend of short walks , camera at the ready .
Have a good day everyone

Morning all, and what a beauty of a morning it is, birdsong well before dawn here and a gorgeous walk through the forest just now, with a very pleasant temperature, no wind, and sunshine breaking through the early mist… just as good as it gets… :sunglasses:

No plans now for the day so I may waste the better part of it reading in the deckchair out in the garden.

Enjoy your own day everyone

Good afternoon everybody.

This morning daughter Karen came with mothers day gift as she is too busy tomorrow with her own kids. I don’t know what she bought me - it’s in an envelope with the card & she said I can’t undo it until tomorrow. A voucher I guess. Oh, and also a bottle of wine which I can see before tomorrow…

It’s such a lovely day but I’m still nursing my broken elbow so can’t do much.

Think I’ll get Tony out in the garden to work under my instructions.

Have a good day all…

Packaging from Samsung is as ridiculous and over the top as Amazon.

Jan. it has now become a tourist attraction, rumour has it it was built by the Romans but they left it as they did with some of their treasures that they buried in the ground.
Or the company that was building it ran out of money, so the story goes.

This is a picture of the library in my village I promised earlier…also a picture of the daffodils with the library in the distance the village is full of Daffys right now

I guessed it would be the second explanation! Usually is.

Morning all.

Lovely daffs.

Happy Mother’s Day.

Hoping Holly will soon forgive me for leaving her almost a week. We haven’t had our normal cuddles but got half hearted affection. She was a bit subdued when I collected her yesterday morning. He said he’d had to tell her no on several occasions for nipping, but it is just during play when she gets excitable, grabbing for the ball. I just hope he wasn’t too hard on her. Sometimes when she and I end up on the sofa she goes for the ball and I often have near misses of her grabbing a piece of my leg, lol.

Morning all, no sun here this morning, maybe it will later.
Nothing planned for the day.
Janet, you better make a lot of fuss with Holly today, and not leave her for a while.
Have a nice day all.

Happy Mother’s day.

Good morning everybody.

Happy Mothers day to all us mums - and mums with fur babies too.

I’m going to Ady & Paula’s for afternoon tea & Sue is coming to see me this morning.

Have a good day everybody…
