Morning chatters! I have discovered I have 4 bins & 1 shared for garden waste. Each one gets emptied every week (as in one bin, per week) so I have to be mindful of how much it fills up because it won’t get emptied for a month!
Morning all, back from walking the hounds now and having a hot brew to warm up, it’s quite a chill wind out there today albeit bright and sunny, -2°c earlier…
I have the windows to clean today and may put the comb through the dogs if I can find the energy later.
It’s a lovely bright morning here and at last Tony will be able to take his mobility scooter out for a run.
As we now keep it in the front hall we will have to disassemble it to get it over the threshold & assemble it again the other side. Ady knows how to do it so he’s coming a walk with Tony. I will video him taking it apart so I will know for next time.
I’m sure I’ll get used to doing it it eventually!!
I can’t go with them as unfortunately I’m waiting in for an Amazon delivery. I have a notice on my door to leave parcels in the greenhouse but I wouldn’t like the poor deliver man to struggle taking a set of drawers down to the greenhouse.
Later, after the Amazon delivery I need to go to Home bargains for laundry tablets & Kenco coffee & their Niki toilet roll. Also need to go to the bank to deposit some bags of cash & while I’m there may as well pay my credit card bill though I usually do that online…
We’re meeting our son (Ady) Paula & family for a meal tonight.
Good morning all.
Back from my weekly shop at Sainsbury’s. I did not need a lot and got everything that was on my list and a couple of extra bits.
There was some frost earlier when I took Minnie out for our usual stroll. Also a chill in the light wind.
Blue sky and of course sunny.
Now, what else to do today? I might spray the paving in the garden with weed killer. That is if the forecast can promise no rain for the next 24 hours.
Morning chit chatters, another dull but dry day. It’s bin day for us too, but they’ve already been and gone. We have to get the bin out every Monday night, because they’re always here around 7.00am.
It’s our lovely daughter’s birthday today, which she’s not happy about! She always gets very down in the run-up to her birthday every year - another year older, and still single. She has her little girl, but I so wish she could find a decent fellow to share her life with. Decent fellows her age are pretty thin on the ground unfortunately.
Nothing on the agenda today, but of course we will be popping round to see her later with a birthday cake and card - her present is some new furniture from IKEA, but she has to sell some existing stuff first or get rid of it somehow…
Morning Chatters, its a beautiful sunny morning here but cold.
Nothing planned for the day, might do a 5 min walk to the sea front later.
Got my bed sheets in the washing machine.
Have a nice day all.
A spare day for me today. Might fire up the big PC and sort out homework for next Tuesday’s writing meeting. I need to sort out a chapter or something to submit.
Don’t need shopping, and want to finish this current library book before going there.
Good walking weather. I plan on walking the Chatsworth Estate today with my friend. No doubt we’ll come back with lots of goodies from the Chatsworth farm Shop.
My trapped nerve is still playing me up but I shall dose up on painkillers & just get on with it.
Tony out for the day with Ady so I don’t have to worry about him.
morning all much milder today I think,my plan today is go to my local Garden Centre which is just a 15 minute bus ride away , it also has a food stall and resturants /cafes so probably have a bite to eat while im there .
Then pop across to the outdoor shop and maybe buy some Trainers for walking in .Its going to be a nice trip out .
Morning Chatters! Its chilly today but dry. Lots of wind and rain last night which was a bit scary, but its died down now thankfully.
Been out with the dog, so now going to tidy up and put together a small coffee table for the living room. Of course, I have lost the instructions haven’t I, so its going to be like a jigsaw puzzle!
Good very late morning all.
Yes late today, but it really don’t matter. When I went with Minnie out over the field, there were some of the children out on it already. So all I could do was the north side top and the west side and back again. I suppose that is the same as going all round that I would normally do.
Weather here is overcast, but not too cold.
Nothing really planed for today, except phone the surgery for an appointment. I think it is time to get the left knee replaced. It would seem the the injections are not lasting very long anymore.
Yesterday after many hospital tests to find out the cause of loss of balance and unfortunately not coming up with a definitive answer I was prescribed Prochlorperzine which i note has a common side effect of: dizziness, feeling unsteady or having trouble keeping your balance, [image]
Really cannot make this stuff up.
Edit: Just opened the box to find ten tablets which is odd as I am supposed to take three per day.
Possibly as when one of the most stunning nurses, mask permitting, tall, blond, leggy and other bits called Sophie came to give me my medication there seem to be confusion as to dosage as the outpatient letter says 10 tablets but Sophie said it should be three a day and how could I not believe Sophie?
Two a day will be fine maybe I should take them with some booze and really throw balance out of the window.
Good morning all, lovely and sunny here and much milder.
Doing a little shop this morning as we are running out of food.
Make you laugh had to pick up my medication from the pharmacy, the GP has prescribed me Co-Codamol tablets, I asked for just 8mg as 30mg makes me sick, the Pharmacy woman said, we can’t give you any more of 8mg, so we will give you 30mg but a lot less tablets, but you need to cut each caplet into 1/4th, well you try cutting a small caplet into 4, it goes like dust (stupid people).
