Friend isnāt working in shop today so under no pressure to take Holly in for a greet and gossip.

Didnāt get up till 8.30, but Iām getting things sorted. Phoned the vet to book Hollyās vaccinations. They are doing both kennel cough and booster in February.
Next up, is finishing the rubbish and getting the bin from the garden to front of house. Collection tomorrow. Noticed NfH have already filled their recycling bin, with yet 8 days to go. 
. Be interesting to see where the next weekās rubbish will go.
Must get on. Got washing up to.

A busy day here, not much done myself but organised a lot, two helpers here, the teen earlier, now Shiv.
Loads more to do after stuck in bed for many weeks, but feeling better now a start has been made.

Done another clothes wash, this time to include my PJs and dressing gown. All hung up in the bedroom with window cracked open. Hoovered around downstairs.
Not sure of plans for rest of the day. Just waiting on an email now from Currys to collect something in store. I also want to look in Dunelm for a replacement rug in my lounge. The one under my feet needs chucking.

Could have warned you, Susie! I was out at 8 with Holly and was cold myself. She really does like to hang about, sniffing.
Hoping to have a phone chat shortly with an ex colleague, but as she loves to talk on and on, I have said half hour at most, so I can then walk Holly and then do some lunch. The kind of person who when I say āwell I must goā¦ā has something else to say. My friend, who died a few months ago, also did that.

Off to the monthly quiz shortly, then a phone chat with sister. Both she and my brother tried me in the afternoon when Iād taken Holly to see our friend in the shop. I wouldnāt mind but I was home in the morning. Why do they both decide to get me when Iām not there, lol?

Now staying in the warm for as long as I can, till I feel brave enough to take Holly out again. Maybe she will do a wee in the garden later and we do just the late walk. She doesnāt like the cold wind.

It is feels like -12 right now. I didnāt bother walking Holly last night. I didnāt feel safe in the dark on snow covered pavements so wrapped up and stayed in the garden with her while she did a long wee. Swept up some of the snow on the paving stones so she can go out there later. She managed to go the whole night but did have to get her out about 8 this morning. We were back in within minutes.

We have had more snow, laying on the ice. I did get Holly out this morning, but just along our road. I am not going to the community cafe later, as are neither of the other ladies, for various reasons. As I usually have drop scones there I might try making my own later. However, recipe ingredients vary, so it might be trial and error.
Changed bed linen and done a clothes wash, so been busy.
