Last night I only took Holly out the front for a wee and back again so no doubt she will be needing her walk very soon. On the earlier walk she indicated she wanted a poo but got distracted by somebody at their car, so after then walking her up and down by gutters, to no avail, we came home. Wet. I told her, Iām not going out in that rain!
Will take another Covid test later, because of our friend testing positive after weād been for our meal. Will hopefully finish my library book, with just a few pages to go, and find something from the freezer for my main meal. Yes Barry, retirement is very exciting.

Just back from doing my daughters cat. There and back in 30 minutes. No traffic that early. Itās approximately 2 miles there.
Also took Minnie out as usual.
We had lots of rain in the night, but dry now with bright sky.
Lunch? I expect it will have to be 1/4 chicken and lots of vegetables.
Nothing else planed so will just let it happen.

Rosemary is baking bread this morning so Iāll be keeping out of the way with a job in the garage making new covers for the compost heaps, I bet you were all desperate to know that werenāt youā¦

I have had a Whole Chicken in the oven cooking since 5am this morning, am going to take it out of the oven now, and leave it to stand for a while before carving.

Drizzling here and forecast for most of the day, so looks like Iāll be on cleaning duties this morning before grooming the dogs this afternoon so theyāre ready for us to clip them tomorrow.

Just my dental check up this morning, at 10.50. If sis is home from her London trip (which could be doubtful) I could pop in there afterwards. If not, then Aldi on the way home.

Off shortly to sort out daughters cat. Just waiting until the school traffic dies down.
I am not going on the Monday group walk as my knee is playing up. But I am going to the festivities later. All precautions are being taken, and will be outdoors.

Sorry to hear about Emjayās knee, too.
Dentist was fine. He praised me for the care of my teeth, he tried again on that outer one which had lost two external fillings, but I declined the future invasive treatment. As also dentures. Nah, I said. Tried them in London, couldnāt get on with them.
After lunch and a dog walk, now snuggled up with dog in front of the telly, and had a cuppa.

Washing one of the fleeces from the bed that Holly lies on. Oooh, it was ponging a bit. She will be clean later from her groom. There is another one on the bed but that can wait till this one is dry. Canāt tumble it, so will either try on the line, weather permitting, or bring down the dehumidifier (or set the airer upstairs, whichever is easier.)
Looks like a bit dog clipping day all round then Jan, weāve just done clipping ours too.
Nothing much planned now other than cooking pie and mash for lunch and a walk early afternoon.

Done my morning chores. Been to Sainsburyās for my weekly stock up.
Looking at Minnie and this talk of dog grooming, I think she could do with a trim.
The walking group āpartyā went well. Most were outside at the tables provided. There was so much grub and liquid. There was so much over so it has been donated to the food bank that is held at the premises where we where.
Dentures. The best thing I did a few years ago was to have implants in the lower jaw. There was not enough bone for the normal denture to hold. I tried everything, but nothing worked. Only had two implants into the bone, and the denture just clips onto them. Cost around 2K.
Nothing else planed for today. So will just let it happen.

Off out about 8.00am this morning to Beccles to the Carpet shop, need to buy a piece of Vinyl for the Porch, where Wayfair Furniture delivery men damaged it, and Wayfair has given us a refund to get a new piece.

If I won a sum of money on the lotto I might give implants a consideration, but not right now. And deffo no dentures. Nasty little things, they are.
I have been leaving Holly a lot recently for various trips shopping, etc., so will stay home and pay more attention, play more if she wants to, longer walks if it stays mild and dry. Hoping I can wash that second fleece. The first one went back on the bed last night, smelling gorgeous. So does she, coconutty!
I wish I could clip her myself but being she is a Westie I wouldnāt feel confident enough to give her the right cut. (Plus she is a mare to bathe.) I donāt believe in all the fancy skirt styles, or fluffy legs. She gets clipped right down, and every 10 weeks, by which time I am calling her mop head!
So apart from all that, I hope to do a bit of tidying up. Amazing how quickly surfaces fill up again, of just stuff.

I donāt really know what I shall be doing today, maybe having to drive my daughter about, as her car is being taken for a repair.

Yes, Artangel posted just last week I think it was. Not sure of the thread but you can search for posts made if you wish. If I can find it I will edit this post accordingly.
