Edited my post: our friend is on holiday this week from the shop, but she will be in here tomorrow for a cuppa and chat.

Rain has arrived I can almost feel my plants jumping up and down with the joy. With the rain comes the vacum as if I cannot be outside I will vac instead. LOL Out for a coffee shortly bit of a catch up.
Got a skip run to do as well. then must clean inside the car as going to a work colleagues funeral on Friday and have a car full. I brought two day night roller blinds and fitted them to the two front down stairs windows I am impressed always been a “nets” person but these are alright/quite smart will get two more for the upstairs front windows as I like symmetry of the windows.
Will carry on trying to sort out the loft and empty it as the weather has gone cooler my loft in that heat was not the place to be LOL will try and get another car full out.
Just sorting a curry for a couple of friends for tomorrow evening I have offered the time and location just awaiting replies.

Good morning all, was up 5-10 had coffee and took dog for walk, now soaking my feet in hot salt water then do dressings and have a shave and shower, got special water proof boots for my feet in shower so my dressings don’t get wet, nothing much other than that, listen to Alexa with Fleetwood Mac and ELO have a good day people

I got up at 7.30, have done the dog walk, she’s out in the garden, sunning herself, and I’m indoors, finishing breakfast.
Wondering what to do this morning. Tescos? Town, for a meet up, and do library? Seeing the ladies again on Monday so not bothered about that. And cbb to drive up to Tescos. Reckon I’ll end up staying indoors. Do have a bloke calling round later to quote for a garden tidy (cut back over hanging shrubs, honey suckle and roses, especially as the latter two are into next door’s again).

Lots of rain earlier but Holly and I got out as it eased off.
I spent all evening yesterday updating my tree on Ancestry, messaging some matches and answering those who bothered to respond. One is a great match and a definite relative. Will message him again and ask for details, if he is willing to give. I could look them up, but he may know more. He said his father was one of 13. Eeeeek.
