We were out chatting to our friend in the shop and got home just before the storm started. Saw the black clouds approaching so we said our goodbyes and made it home in time.
Morning.
Must go shopping this morning, for bread mainly, then after a quick lunch will go along to the church community cafe.
Hi had a good morning waited for rain to stop then took garden rubbish to tip then got back done a wash and got it out on the line finger crossed no more rain in south London lol
Morning.
Cafe this morning, then to the shop later to see our friend. No other plans. (Donât even know whatâs for lunch or dinner).
Good morning all, sun is out.
No plans for me today.
Have a nice day all.
Neighbour canât remove old headlight assembly. He will need time to take off wheel arch, front bumper etc., to locate a third unseen bolt. But in any case, the part I do have is damaged! They said they would refund if I send it back, but first I need to find some outer packaging (kept the bubble wrap), then spend more money on posting it back. Some eBay adverts state buyer has to pay return postage.
This company approached me in response to a social media post and didnât state the part was damaged. They are in Bury St Edmundâs so hardly local to me.
Felt sorry for him, trying his best to get to it. I said I might wait till the mot in January, see if no more damage, hope it passes. In the meantime, have put up another social media post, asking if anyone can source an undamaged light, and not silly money.
Morning all.
Out today, then tomorrow will drive to Gorleston to another car parts place, that might have the headlight I need. More expense! If it is the correct one, my neighbour will try to fit it tomorrow. He said he watched a YT clip on how to remove the bumper that needs to come off doe access to another bolt. (The bit thatâs missing).
I did have the brilliant idea of re-using the bubble wrap it came in, then putting inside a black bin liner. I will need to go out for some tape marked Fragile, though. Will put their address in a clear bag, taped to the parcel.
