Back from coffee at a friend’s and I’ve never needed an ice lolly more in my life! What’s everyone got to cool down? I’ve not much of a sweet tooth but I’m smug about the fact I have a freezer full of Magnums at the moment!

good morning, a little rain and thunder late yesterday, but the garden needs more
a bit cooler today and not expected to get silly hot
shall be watching on tv, the British Touring Cars races at Oulton Park, quite local to me and have been there many times in the past, till they invented tv
Morning susie and Mack and all, another lovely looking day, up 5-30 and nice coffee, got the breakfast on the go as got guests so bubble done with mushrooms bacon sausages and do fried slice and eggs beans and tomatoes when they arrive, also took dog out for his 45 min walk now chilling till fry time have a good day

Second day of my holiday. Today I am off to Cromer/Sheringham, via Norwich. If it gets too hot and uncomfortable I may make my way home early, and start packing for tomorrow’s caravan stay. I will need to stop at the library on the way and put three books through their letter box, as returns. They are incurring an overdue fine, so at least once they process them the amount will stop.
My son is marshalling at Oulton Park this weekend. Spotted him on flag waving on YouTube yesterday at Hilltop.

We had thunder this morning about 6am, then it was grey, now its sunny and red hot at 21c.

Looking forward to an early night and hopefully a quiet one. All yesterday evening I had to put up with NfH in and out in and out in and out, slamming the door, staying outside cackling etc.
WM going with bed linen, new put on, ready to come home to on Friday. Just hope it stops raining for the day so I can get it mostly dry.
