Nope, no carvery. Waiting for an emergency plumber to call. A dripping joint in the shower attachment, and the mains tap has sized, so I can’t turn the water off. Argh!! An expensive morning for me.

Second visit to care home cancelled as she has now moved on. I can do housework. Yawn!
Managed to get out yesterday. A quick hello to the ladies in the social centre in town, then 10 minutes in the library. Drive on to Tesco, shopping and petrol, then to Toby for a takeaway. I have enough for a second meal, as I was given separate bags for yorkie and roasties. Got plenty of the latter, and served myself plenty of the veg. Still some meat left.

Hope you enjoy Norwich, Susie. I love going there, for the market and choice of shops. You can get fold up maps but can’t remember where I got mine. You can maybe ask inside the bus station, or sometimes there’s a fella standing near the market, helping with directions and handing them out.
Hair cut for me lunchtime but I do hope to get my housework done first.
If she doesn’t chat too much would then like to have my Toby carvery takeout for lunch when I get home.
Oh Janet, just got back home from Norwich, I was so bad on my feet and knees, I could hardly walk, its a lovely shopping centre, but I was sitting down on benches more then walking. The Market stalls are all on a slope going up and up which killed me. I was wearing winter shoes and socks and a jacket, perhaps if I go again, I will wear sandals and no jacket. Took 1hr 20 mins to get there.
I’m always taking a coat that I never wear.

I made a small bread yesterday, to avoid going out (but will do so later this morning), and made a classic mistake, lol. I had used a paper insert in the loaf tin but forgot to grease it. Of course when it had cooked, all the paper was stuck to the sides and base, so I had to cut a lot away. Won’t do that again. . Silly really, as I have the oil spray bottle which would have done the job perfectly.

Raining. Eurgh!! Not sure where my other shoes are so need to find something for the dog walk. My canvas Velcro shoes will get soaked in no time.
Did a lot of shopping yesterday, though did want the larger Morrisons. No time for that, having left Holly a few hours. So just as well then I didn’t leave it till today.
