Not going out today.
Got a load of washing to do, will hang it outside to dry, wash me hair, prepare vegs for dinner, then if its warmer I will go for a walk.

IāVE BEEN BANNED FROM TESCOāS ā¦ Yesterday I was at my local Tesco store buying a large bag of My Dog food for my loyal pet and was in the checkout queue when a woman behind me asked if I had a dog. What did she think I had, an elephant? So, since Iām retired and have little to do, on impulse I told her that no, I didnāt have a dog, I was starting the Dog Diet again. I added that I probably shouldnāt, because I ended up in hospital last time, but Iād lost 10 kilograms before I woke up in intensive care with tubes coming out of most of my orifices and IVs in both arms. I told her that it was essentially a perfect diet, and that the way that it works is to load your pockets with My Dog nuggets and eat one or two every time you feel hungry.
The food is nutritionally complete so it works well, and I was going to try it again. (I must mention that practically everyone in the queue was now enthralled with my story.)
Horrified, she asked me if I ended up in intensive care because the dog food poisoned me. I told her no, I stepped off the kerb to sniff an Irish Setterās behind and a car hit me.
I thought the guy behind her would have a heart attack, he was laughing so hard. Iām now banned from Tescoās,
so You better watch what you ask retired people. They have all the time in the world to think of daft things to say.

Beautiful weather here.
Nothing exciting for me to do today, off to do our weekly shopping and thatās about it, so I will probably sunbathe down at the sea wall today, get some sun rays to my body.

In the garden waiting for the sun to appear over the rooftops. Got my library book to try and finish.

I will go off to Tesco this morning. Need bread and will have a wander about the store, see if I need anything else. Sweet potato, for one thing. Almost got a couple in Aldi yesterday but the cashier warned me they were nearly 70p each and Iād selected two very small ones, the rest being much too big.
Morning all, not very nice out, was lovely and sunny at 6am, then it went cloudy all over and windy, now its sunny but slight wind, but cold.
Iāve tried sitting in the garden but yes, it is cold. Also felt it on the dog walk not long ago as I wasnāt wearing a fleece/jacket. Now in the front room, being lazy.
Enjoyed our morning out, and one of the ladies mentioned another church event for Sunday, a brunch, so will give that a try. Closer to home, as well.
Is a bride worth any thing when her father just gives her away?

Housework never got done yesterday so thatās on todayās to do list.

Off out to a church brunch at 10.30, then when home will take Holly round to the shop to say hello to our friend. Our usual routine.
I have nothing to cook for a meal later as donāt know what to expect for this brunch, but can maybe find a pasta in sauce to do. I did a toad in the hole yesterday lunchtime, using up some sausages. It was quite nice, with veg and roasties.
Weather has turned, windy and cold, with dark clouds. Urgh. Where is that warm sunshine we all know and love?
Morning all. Was just cold foods yesterday, croissants, bread, pastries, cakes and fruit, so I went on to Morrisons afterwards and got a ready meal for supper. Friend and I sat with people she knew and they were welcoming and friendly. Not sure I would bother again as they are all members of the church. Not for me.

I do wonder sometimes if worth keeping this going, with so few members now posting. Shame Emjay left.
Changed bed linen, now in WM. Hope it will stay dry enough to hang out in garden today.
Resting and will shower when WM finished, and walk round to pharmacy for my repeats.
Iāve been to the Pharmacy this morning, for a repeat prescription, then registered with new Doctor Surgery.
Back home, just washed my hair, now got washing machine on.
Its very dull and miserable here and slight wind.
