Cleaning lady should be coming this morning, and that cold be the excitement of the day.
I expect that my daughter will make an appearance later for lunch here.

It’s Friday again, and now that my daughter is back it will be the usual routine. Lunch at Morrisons and dinner at hers.
But in between I shall be phoning the optician shortly to make an appointment to pick up my new glasses.
Now one would ask, why do I need an appointment for that?

So I shall just get a bus up to there.

I need to make an optician appt, as my LD glasses are a bit blurry now on tv sub titles. I want them to be a bit sharper/clearer. Not due for a routine check up till next year as they suggested a two year wait.
Been busy this morning and it didn’t help getting up at 8. Have done two loads of washing. Clothes been in TD and hanging on airers, bed linen, which should have been done two weeks ago, now in tumble, and can stay in there till tomorrow for the airers to become free. Then I can change the bed on Sunday. This is the new stuff I bought recently, not for a duvet.
Prepped veg, shall do a roast late lunchtime, with pork slices and sausage meat.

Nothing exciting planned for the day. Need to collect a repeat prescription owed by the nearby pharmacy. Have to remember they close at 1pm on Saturdays now. And I shall change my bed linen.

It is looking so dull out, but must go for my morning walk.
My bird feeders are nearly empty, so they need a refill. At last I am getting the smaller birds coming to feed.
Even some parakeets visit at times.
Nothing else planed, so will just let it happen.
Emjay, with very few trees in our road(s) we rarely see any birds. I may occasionally see a sparrow or two, or something flying out of my shrubs, but definitely never enough to come and find the feeders I’d had out. After that issue with the contaminated seed packet (grain weevils) I am loathe to start up again, especially as it goes uneaten.

Off to Sainsburys shortly for my few bits, then later my daughter is dragging me to Costco.
This evening it is dinner at hers, because it’s my birthday.
