Got a clothes wash on, so will have to use dehumidifier and/or the tumble. Then with all our stuff getting wet on dog walks will have a job drying that off, too.
Garage texted yesterday stating car has been inspected and they are waiting for authorisation. In the meantime I’d best get used to this hire car.

I am not going out this morning as my daughter is on the IOW. She went late yesterday evening, and arrived at the house just after 1am.
I am waiting for a parcel hopefully this morning. I missed it yesterday.

At last the weather here has calmed down so I shall take the hire car out to get some shopping. I might even go on up to Toby for my favourite meal combination.

Morning all, very windy but dry done the dump run in New Cross now back home sorting out chicken in oven and mixing the stuffing then settle down for the day to watch the sport on tv but. Greyhound walk first have a good one
Yes, still very gusty here but managed to get out for necessary shopping. Didn’t go on to Toby though as it’s a few miles away and I’m not keen on that wind. Off to see our friend in the shop shortly, and she can hold Holly while I get a takeaway roast in the pub. Be enough for two days if I add to it tomorrow.

At the moment it is calm here. I had not been doing my morning walk around the fields. Well I have just now.
I shall be going to Sainsburys shortly for my few needed bits.
At least, storm Bob stopped the boats. 
Call from a laughing insurance agent to let me know the car has been written off. I even scolded him, said it’s not a laughing matter. What charm school did he go to?
Now need to start looking for a replacement.

Jan. I did not think that the car had that much damage to be a write off.
I suppose that the insurance company think that the repairs would cost more in their opinion than the car is worth.
It’s the car repairers are the crooks. On my last car, they quoted £1200 for a little dent. I did it myself, cost nothing. The small touch up paint, I used from my acrilic painting set.
Oh I agree, Emjay. The first garage who would have repaired that panel from the scrapes reckoned on 2 grand. Dunno where they pluck their figures from.

Supposed to be taking two friends to a garden centre but I’ve messaged them with my concerns. Hoping we can wait for a drier day. I’m worried about the roads, other drivers and potential puddles in the car park. It’s just horrible shingle.

I shall still be going to the AgeUK coffee and chat this morning.
It seems that I have been volunteered to deliver some parcels to my neighbours. That I ain’t going to do.
I went to put some rubbish in my bin that is out front, and on my doorstep was 3 parcels. None of mine but for local neighbours. Put a picture of them on our roads watt’s app. Then the people came and picked them up.
This is happening a few times with other neighbours.

Garden centre today, postponed from yesterday. Hoping it stays dry today. Still cold though.
Though I don’t know what I will be doing this holiday, whether it’s a quiet one with just the dog, the g/c will be very bright and colourful with all the various Christmassy things for sale. I have a list of cards to look for, one of the ladies wants an artificial tree. Not sure what the other lady wants, whether she’s just there to browse, like me.
Spent ages again last night, looking at used cars, and mobility scooters. Still unsure what to do. Do not want to fritter any of the money away, which cleared in my account yesterday, on something unsuitable. My Juke had every

I have to leave very soon for the garage to sort out my car. The guy collecting it for destruction wants to pick up another vehicle nearby and had hoped to get mine yesterday. Just as well because my post arrived while at the garden centre with my new dvla form, with the car now reverting to original regn. Hoping my private plates can be taken off for me to keep.
Sure I left the original ones in the boot.

Changed my bedding. No it’s not my birthday. And the other lot is in the wash.
Hopefully I shall be seeing my daughter today for our usual Friday outings.
She has had a bad cold which is better now, that is why I have not seen her this week.
