Another LED has gone in the porch light, so it’s off to Wicks shortly to get another one. I noticed that they were the same price as what I got them on eBay.
Morrison is now open.
It was not a Health problem why they were closed, but it was maintenance work that needed to be done.
So lunch there later.

Decided to change the bedding, take off duvet, put on new stuff from Dunelm. Sheet, pillow case, blanket and bed spread.

I had an emergency electrical problem that needed to be sorted. So done that.
I expect that I shall be dragged out again when my daughter gets here.

Been to the retail park, got loads of shopping and ordered my new PC, paying for it in full, after transferring funds from savings account. Made an error in booking Monday AM delivery, and realised I should be taking the car 10 miles to GY to the garage. Phoned them quickly and after some gentle persuasion and sweet talking, and them realising I would be ‘hanging about in this weather for cabs or buses’, they’ve agreed to send the pick up truck to collect. Yay!
My friend was going to pop in to see to Holly as I didn’t know how long it would take me in all, but have seen her and suggested she comes in anyway, and has a coffee with me. I might still be sitting there then waiting for Currys.

Nothing planed for today, so I shall just let it happen.
Car rear ended this morning on way to Tesco. Not my fault. Again!!! Spoken to my insurers and first thing in the morning I have to speak to the garage who were due to take my car in for the first lot of damage. I also need to speak to this guy’s insurers, see what they say.
My insurers said ‘to go back to them if it got complicated, and make a no fault claim’. The garage can’t do the initial repairs because it is on the same part of the car, only this time there is extensive damage. It WILL get complicated, even I can predict that. Two different incidents, two different insurance companies…who will pay what?
Not a happy bunny. And if they write it off, I will be an even unhappier bunny!!

Yes, fine thanks Kazz, just angry. I have a lot of occasions in the coming weeks where I really do need the car, so don’t know how that will pan out.

Up early, so was able to get Holly out by 7, and back home smart ish. It’s freezing!!
Had first coffee and tablets, waiting for the message from Currys with my time slot but at least I can stay home now until noon. And at 8.30, will call the garage to stall collection of the car for initial repairs. Then, after breakfast, I can start contacting all insurance companies. What fun, eh?

My new PC arrived yesterday morning and got it set up before I went out. Just need some time now to download anti virus software but that can wait. Too much still going on vis a vis the car.

Also have bought an iPad 10th generation.
Good morning all, got up to rain at 6-45am now got sleet but too wet for snow to settle, got shopping today then duvet day after that stay healthy and dry and warm.
Is it your first iPad? I can’t be without mine.
