Morning all.
Yeuk, this weather! One airer has my wet coat, trousers and Holly’s things hanging to dry. Then I have the tumble dryer going with washed bed linen. Too much for my poor dehumidifier to cope with, I would think.
Shall have a quiet day. Shortly I will get my chicken into the mini oven, maybe in a roasting bag. I could use the rotisserie function in the air fryer but cbb today.
Emjay, some people just can’t get the hang of things. My sister, for instance. Can’t or won’t hang her Ring doorbell up on the plate. Always asking about things on her phone. No matter how many times you tell them, it doesn’t sink in.

I have got a bug. I was being sick from 5pm yesterday every 2 hours until 2am this morning.
So I feel rotten. Drinking lots of water, and have managed a slice of bread and a cuppa.
So I am just going to sit in my recliner and feel sorry for myself.

Almost back to normal and had a good nights sleep, and my normal breakfast.
I have not done my morning stroll, as it is a bit damp out. Maybe I will do it later.
I have the cleaning lady coming this morning, and so far that could be the excitement of the day.

Not sure if I will go out today. If I do, it will only be to Morrisons.
My zoom meetings went well yesterday. I followed up the one on here with fellow Dave Clark Five fans and we chatted for almost an hour. I had to make my excuses and leave as it was getting close to 9.45 and I wanted to get ready for bed. Was so good listening to their tales. We should have been toasting the late singer’s 80th birthday at 9 but so many people wanted to chat, it was much later. I hope both they and here do them again.

It’s the one year anniversary of when I was blinded by the sun whilst driving.
I crashed into 2 parked cars & my Fiesta was a write off.
Can’t help thinking about it today. It was the end of a horrible year…

I woke up late this morning. Well I expect I needed it.
I was determined to do my walk this morning, and I have just done it.
I am hoping that as usual it will be Morrisons for lunch, and later this evening dinner at my daughter’s.
Yes Janet, the fence quote is £850, which I thought was quite reasonable, they have already done the gate which was £350.
The back wall in the Lounge we are having wallpapered in a Yellow/Grey Trees and the rest of the walls will be painted in a Hint of Lemon and White Ceiling, the single spare room just the back wall painted in Soft Stone, we might also paint the kitchen walls.
I believe I used soft stone, in one of my rooms.

It would seem that I will be grounded for today. Very heavy rain now and it seems that it could be in for the day.
I don’t expect I shall be seeing anyone today, as my daughter is going out with her friends for their Christmas bash.
Of course being Saturday, it’s laundry day for me.

I’ve had a lie in again. I just cant seem to get up in the mornings. I suspect this is caused by the sciatica medication I take at night. It knocks me out.
It’s raining & horrible here. In an attempt to cut down on my tumble dryer I’ve just been hanging wet washing all round the house. I finish it off in the dryer when its almost dry. Thankfully I have two spare rooms where I can hang it but some over the radiators in the lounge too.
I plan on getting stuck into some cleaning this afternoon. It’s time for the kitchen to have a good going over.
