So summer is officially over.
I have booked my next covid jab for Sunday morning. It’s a bit of a drive, but that don’t worry me.
You girls that are suffering, get well soon. And that is an order. Can’t have you on sick parade every morning.

It is also very windy here and rain looking sky. I took an umbrella with just a while ago when I did my morning walk around the field. It was not needed.
Off to the coffee and chat club/group later and also picking up and taking my neighbour.
I had a short visit from my son yesterday evening. He was just passing.

Sunny, blue sky, but cold.
Apart from my cleaning lady coming this morning, there is nothing else planed for today.
I am still finding dead wasps (3 of them) in my bathroom. I can see the live ones flying in under the eves of the roof. To me it is a mystery how they are getting into the bathroom. There is no holes or cracks anywhere in there.

Carol, I’ve certainly thought about getting my CH on, but so far just managed with the occasional switching on of the portable heater in the front room, and then not for a few days now. But certainly, when walking Holly, I have had to wear my thick winter coat with a fleece under. That wind we had recently was brutal.

It is cold out, but bright and looks like some blue sky coming my way from the west.
The mystery of the wasps has been solved.
They were coming through the gap in the loft hatch. I saw one doing it. So I have put gaffer tape around the hatch. Hopefully that’s it.
Lunch with my daughter at Morrisons, and a bit of shopping there.
Dinner at hers this evening.

Emjay, my US friend told me in her email recently she had ‘five paper wasps’ attacking her from under her couch. She got stung on her toe from one, and two stung her knee. The toe one resulted in an egg sized lump. Eeeeek!! She lives in a condo and called out their pest control. Something to do with the way her lantern was angled near her window, which maybe encouraged them in.
Still feeling no better. So fed up with it now.
Got clothes wash on, and after dog walk and breakfast I will go out for a SM shop, which I’d wanted to do yesterday.

Blue sky but not very warm yet.
Second lot of laundry is being done.
A dinner drama at my daughter’s yesterday. The chicken that she bought had gone off. So we ended up with lasagna that I am not fond of.
I suppose as usual for a Saturday, I will get dragged out just for a wander around the local shops, and then lunch at the usual place.

I did enjoy my cooked breakfast but every mouthful hurt going down. Last night I decided to check my throat. It would appear I have tonsillitis! Just about half way through the ten day course of antibiotics.
