Cats and idiots on my property

Making a rod for your own back.

Take care, Swimfeeders.

Exactly…not quite sure what that has to do with deterring cats either.

Thank you, Pixie.

Hi

You keep Bedlington’s.

A category two for problems.

A real dog lover would not put their dogs at such risk of problems.

Excuse me - I am the queen of thread derailment here…I refuse to pass the crown. Cats and idiots on this thread

Excuse me, but what have my dogs got to do with your burglars and cat problems??? And precisely what ‘problems’ do I put my dogs at risk from?

Seeing as you don’t know a Beddies head from its backside, do you honestly think you know more than me about them?

I would appreciate it if you would make an effort to stop being so vindictive just because I didn’t agree with razor wire. Pathetic.

Swimmy, My daughter has three cats. Recently, she cleared part of her garden and put grass seed down and waited for it to grow.

…but you can guess what happened, her three cats loved the soft earth and were all using it as a toilet!
She wasn’t pleased and put chilli powder over the area. It worked on the area she had put the chilli powder on but now they were pooing around the edges where there was no chilli powder!
She had to buy strong netting to deter them.

I can understand it is a big problem for you and you have worked very hard on your garden. Sprinkling chilli powder and covering with netting seems like a good idea but l don’t think it’s the answer to your problem.

Have you considered a bird scarer that goes off randomly… perhaps not!
Whatever happens, l hope you can solve your problem very soon.

Artangel - why would Swimmy want a bird scarer - he wants the birds - just not the cats or the burglars.

I have ( 4 x times now) given a solution to the cat problem - one that really does work! I hope he does not use the chili powder as that is poisonous to cats.

As for the burglars - whatever happens to them is entirely their own fault :-D:-D:-D

ST, The bird scarer was tongue in cheek but my joke has fallen flat!!

My daughter’s cats are still very much alive. Anyway, ŵould a cat eat chilli powder?

I think, your suggestion was quite expensive, surely, there must be cheaper cat deterrents that work?

So why get a Ring Doorbell?

I have just had words with my neighbour over watering my garden .
He says watering my garden is rotting his fence . ( the fence that he put up over my land while I was abroad )
It’s now going green and despite the fact that it’s has been raining practically all winter and summer it’s my watering he says is rotting his fence .
He says he will tear it down . I sai if you do and damage my plants I will prosecute .
He a nasty little man with all the worse little man syndrome .
I hate the little twerp but if I report this to my solicitor it will affect me if I want to sell .
I shall of course continue to water my garden his fence can rot completely for all I care .

That’s ridiculous…only if something was up against a fence like grass, soil, constantly, then it will rot after a while.
Because it can’t breath.
I water my garden a lot, including the fence…no disrespect to him, but he doesn’t sound all there.

Or Max!
Actually, Max and the cats just observe each other on the fence.

Yes, the good old CPS (Criminals’ Protection Service) would certainly do all they can to prosecute YOU!

I agree about the cats, though.
Cats know no better. They don’t poo on your garden to be nasty; they do it because… well, for the same reason you do it (although presumably you don’t do it in your garden).

A safer and more humanitarian option would be one of these:

We have used them and they work.

What are you on about?

:023::023:

Some people are so annoying. They are such trouble makers. I’m sure they could find trouble if they lived alone on a desert Island.

I asked him the same. :102:

Perhaps you will get a reply, because i didnt.

I doubt it.

How old is this fence Muddy?

As you know, wood rotting is a process of biological decay. The chemicals inherent within the timber will be a major factor in the rate of the decay, as will the usage of man made preservatives. Water alone will not rot timber. If it was as simple a process as he thinks it is, then he might want to explain why the Mary Rose’s timber didn’t totally disappear during it’s 500 years being submerged under the sea.

Hi

The cats are still causing problems, just now stalking my bird feeders.

Time for pressure sensitive high pressure water sprays.

A remarkable lack of idiots however.

Humans that is.
