Apparently the manufacturers telephone number and email address are enclosed in the packaging, and they should be the first line of communication. After exchanging several emails and photographs with them, they could not find a solution so recommended that I call AO.com direct to come and collect the freezer for replacement or refund. I shall of course expect a full refund and likely go to Curry’s like I ought to have done in the first place.
We don’t currently have a John Lewis close by Zac or else they would have certainly been a consideration.
In other news…
Records were broken this morning when we did our regular Wednesday shop at Tesco…
After shopping there for several years, I just had the biggest bill I’ve ever had and we didn’t buy any frozen stuff…
That’s where the washing machne came from, no probs so far!

Now’t wrong with Curry’s Spitty, Most of our electricals came from there after the local family run electrical shop closed back in the 90’s.
After a good inspection of this latest freezer I noticed the work inside was shoddy and cheap, it was manufactured by Russell Hobbs, we also have a kettle by them, Mrs Fox selected it and I’ve never liked it. All our previous stuff was Hotpoint and the washer still runs like a dream…Although I don’t go near it… 
Yeah, I thought as much…
Sat in A&E with Mrs Fox, her leg has swelled up and Doctor thought we should come here to have it checked out.

Thanks d00d, after five hours in A&E and more tests than NASA they sent her home with some industrial size antibiotics… 
Two blokes from AO took away the damaged freezer this morning, just waiting for me money to come back into my account.
Can’t fault AO for their speedy service, but I’ll never buy a Russell Hobbs freezer again…
After that disappointment I’m looking to buy a Bosch freezer. I bought a cordless drill off them and it was brilliant, and the Bosch windscreen wipers from Halfords were the best windscreen wipers I’ve ever had.

Foxy, pretty sure it was dropped during shipment. They would have insurances most likely for accidents.
I am waiting for an iPad, it had an accident right after leaving the shipper and was returned to them 5 days ago. They refuse to cancel, when I get it maybe I will just send it back, have free returns with prime.

We are now using Lithium Batteries across every country on a daily basis. Phones, computers, and a whole range of other electrical items, vacuum cleaners, cordless power tools, garden equipment, and huge Lithium Battery Storage facilities to name but a few…
Like oil it has to be extracted from the earth and processed. Lithium only has one job, to store electricity in the form of a battery. However we rely on oil for many thinks in our daily life.
Lithium goes through a similar process, i.e. mining and processing and is one of the most unstable metals known to man.
And to add to this…A EV battery weighs up to 1300 lbs compared to 250 lbs for a conventional 1500cc diesel engine.
That’s like carrying almost ten people around at my weight. Think of the extra energy required to move that…
Like oil, lithium is not sustainable. Those with EV’s are being conned by the establishment.

The thing is OGF, that Lithium Batteries can be recycled andused for new batteries.
Tesla can recycle 98% of a Lithium Battery.
