Then Meg must be right then, it must be the scary smile.
OK, full throttle, expressionless, no quarter, that will make a change.
Can’t stand cyclists - even though I am one myself - especially Lycra clad mamils who think it is too uncool to sound a bell before they zoom up behind you .
They are usually a bunch of Ill manned prats who think they are Gods gift and pedestrians should jump out their way and quickly . Similarly on the roads they like to travel in a bunch especially on narrow country roads in order to assert their rights to make long traffic queues .
Yes Muddy, and not one of them apologizes for their presence.
Vacant pedestrians are just as bad.
What is a vacant pedestrian.?
An (maybe unintentional) attitude.
Have yet to hear a Pedestrian apologize, they think they don’t put a Foot Wrong.
Have not heard of pedestrians running down cyclists either .
They do it all the time, verbally. Must stay away form the Park on a sunny weekend, as a cyclist, I was on my own, outnumbered by pedestrians at least 1000-1, there was one couple, with a small child who happened to stand in the bypass gate at a cattle grid blocking it causing me to wait for a minute or so, when passing smiled and said “thank you”, that did go someway to restoring faith in Human Pedestrianism.
Are you cycling on the pavement Spitty?..i mean that could upset pedestrians
See, the Pedestrians are walking on what was formally a road.
Formally is it a road no longer ?
You have to go with the times Spitty . Cycle tracks are often made from what were formally footpaths but for some reason cyclists they should always be given priority .
Sorry purists out there substitute formally for formerly, just thought about that in the Bath, how sad is that!
Seems to me there should be a designated cycle path…I can appreciate it being fairly disconcerting when a silent bike appears out of nowhere especially if you have small children with you out walking
Pedants are just as bad as cyclists .
Maybe they are one and the same?
Probably
