My favourite has to be Wensleydale from the creamery at Hawes.

I haven’t tried that Tabby. I will add to my must-try list.

Been there, done that, tested every cheese in the sample room. burp

Did you spot the amazing “Archimedes screw” water wheel down the road?

Im not a great cheese lover,I prefer vintage cheddars, red leicester, double gloucester but very nice with a selection of biscuits for cheese and an assortment of pickles mmm

It’s got to be nice and strong in flavour for me

Blacksticks!

Thank-you Longlegs. Another for my list. xxx

I do rather like those Lidl special Christmas crackers Aysa.
The only time I drink one glass of red wine is with cheese and crackers.

The Blacksticks Blue LDs is it very strong,is it a cheddar? Ive never tried it before.
Im def not one for veiny mouldy blue cheesey stuff tho…it looks a great cheesey colour and crumbly?

I have to support Cheddar, cos it’s all around me!

It’s a blue cheese along the lines of stilton.
Cheddar refers to the cheddaring process that is used to make a certain type of cheese, not where it comes from.
Funnily enough, the cheddaring process was invented in the village of Cheddar, wot is about 13 miles from Fruitcake Folly.

Hello neighbour. I’m very partial to Zumerzet Brie. I think it tastes much nicer than the French stuff.

Cheese goes very well with apple pie.

I like cheese and apple sandwiches with a smidge of tomato ketchup

Being a Derbyshire girl I love Blue Stilton but don’t have it very often these days

I like most cheeses preferably not wrapped in plastic but cheese that has been allowed to breathe and mature naturally.

Yes - I did fruitcake. I know that place as well as my own home!
