Any ideas for a present for my wife?

Can anyone please save my life and suggest a romantic gift I can buy for Marge before the 14th, please?
Perhaps something a little different.
(Not a meal, as we’ll no doubt be going out for one.)

Add mine to the list too…

It’s difficult to say when you don’t know someone JBR, I have no idea what sort of things your wife likes, but instead of buying her a gift as such, is there anywhere you know she has always wanted to go? Or perhaps a weekend away somewhere?

What about a top of the range ironing board?

You’re going to buy Marge a present as well?

Thanks for the idea, Mups, but Marge has told me we can’t go away anywhere (at least for any length of time) until we know what’s happening with my heart.

A hot tub for the garden

Too expensive. Perhaps when I have won the pools.

She was only suggesting one.

What about a loo seat that warms up and plays tunes seeing as you have separate toilets

Theatre? Nice meal?
Has she any hobbies?

I think she likes ironing. :slightly_smiling_face:

Mine paints but then she has all the arty materials…so I am still flummoxed…

I’m sure I heard that B&Q have a very good offer on emulsion brushes at the moment. Just a thought.

Don’t think that’ll fly…

No, but you probably would when she opened the wrapping. :slightly_smiling_face:

Very droll…

But in a friendly, good natured way. :innocent:

That’s a thought, and it coincides with another thread I’ve posted on.
I could look for an attachment for the toilet which plays a nice relaxing tune when a bottom is placed thereon… for a present for my wife of course for the 14th.

Very romantic JBR, no wonder she loves you. :grinning:
