Another price increase

Don’t they reckon one day in the future, we will all be living on dried, pelleted food like many animals are given?

Wouldn’t surprise me, given the vitamin powders and other stuff that’s available now that people use to enhance themselves.

I guess that ultimately, diet/food is all just a chemical process anyway.

“Soylent Green” ! :open_mouth: :nauseated_face:

@ Bruce, Wots that got to do wiv profits Brucy ??
Ozzy will be in the same boat as UK now that all your stuff is sold on
the world markets and you will have to pay the same as the rest of us for your
own stuff !!
Enjoy it while you can !!

Perhaps this will be the natural culling of populations Bruce.

It will all be built over by then a barren concrete jungle.

What a cheerful lot we are. :grinning:
And all I did was mention about the price of postage stamps!
Next thing I know, we’re all gonna run out of food and die. :flushed:

Now i have another theory. Its all sex’s fault.
If every time humans decided they wanted to procreate, if something bad or painful happened, eventually the majority would desist.
But what happens instead?
They have these mind blowing experiences, so keep repeating it!
Thats why the population has exploded over centuries and why we have too many mouths to feed.
Make it unpleasant and farmers will get their fields back again. Poultry and livestock will be able to live more naturally, midwives will be able to use bicycles again, and even postage stamps could come back down.
Mastermind are begging for me y’know. :rofl:

Glad its not my call. :smiley:

Ah, but see my edit, Spitty. I have found the solution. :smile:

Copt it Mups, that needs sleeping on, but may have thought that before. :icon_wink:

Anybody seen petrol prices reduced since fuel duty came down?

@Mups , “the price of petrol has come down”
Oh Christ, all the petrol stations will go bust now !!
Donkeyman! :-1::-1:

Hah. I was asking if anyone had seen a reduction though, cos I haven’t! :smiley:

@Mups, Ooooer, sorry l misread you !!
Donkeyman! :+1::+1:

Since they halved the fuel excise here there has been a reduction in price but the servo has to get a delivery of fuel before they get the saving to pass on. This has meant that there are wide differences in price between servos in the area.

Thats what they said on the radio here the other day too, Bruce.
They reckon at the moment they are still using up the last delivery of the expensive fuel, and it should start going down once that has been used up.
That remains to be seen.

That is a terrifying thought, Boot!

I called into my local post office to get a form to exchange my two books of stamps for the new barcoded ones. This is the reply l got…

‘We don’t keep them, you have to go to the Royal Mail sorting office to get the form and envelope’!
‘That’s miles away’, l replied.
She apologised but said it was to do with Post Offices being independent, or under some other section of something?

Yesterday, only by chance l was near the sorting office and got a form and envelope.
Why is nothing simple anymore?

How ruddy stupid, Art.
They certainly don’t want to make things easier for us, do they.
They’ll strangle themselves in red tape one day!
