we’ll make an exception for little minx
I’m 64 and I still feel like I’m a lot younger but my back tells me otherwise. But I still try to do things, like gardening and I can still walk the dogs 4 times a day, but can’t do the Zumba classes like i used to. I’ve been pondering whether to stop colouring my hair or not because of my grey hair, I’m worried that it will make me look a lot older. I see some women on my walks with grey hair and i think that the women would look younger with coloured hair but at what age do you stop.
I stopped coloured my hair 7 years ago. I was hennaing my hair but had to go my roots every 7 to 10 days and it got to be too much. My hair is over 3 feet long . Going all natural took ages to do but was so liberating. No more roots to worry about.

I’m an old soul
I hate the grey myself, as mine is only grey half and the rest is kind of mousey…not a great mix in my opinion, so colour with L’Oreal dyes and vary it light brown to dark blonde then sometimes I do streaks after, that is the best look that suits me…Looks natural as well…I have always been vain and that is fine as it makes me look after my self to the best I can…
Good for you! I like to colour my hair too. Whatever makes us happy, eh?!
I like some memories of times gone by, but I have been in conversations when older people do go on about people that I don’t know, or who have passed on, as if I should personally recollect them. It can get a bit awkward when it relates to “Fred’s second cousin twice removed, who married that awful women, Bella, do you remember her?

Or they say the same things about their past ills or re-live something over and over and over… and…

Or they say the same things about their past ills
yes When they broke their index finger back in '75 and couldn’t hold a fork properly for 7 months after that! It means so much to them, and I don’t mind really but…y’know…I have things to do

Oh, embrace it Logan!. Honestly, I’d give anything to have grey hair or white hair. I think I have about 20 greys, if that.
My hair’s really fine blow away stuff, so I have it highlighted (bleach), to make it more 'robust; and coarse, less fly-away rubbish.
I was always under the misapprehension that when hair goes grey, it’s stronger and more coarse. I’m gutted it isn’t. It’s fine grey - so I keep having it coloured.
Now, my sister’s hair went grey about 20yrs ago, and she’s 2 yrs older than me.
Hers is coarse. She hates it and colours it purple.
Sometimes genes suck.

Once again, I’m repeating about stuff I’ve already said before somewhere else on the forum.
I’ve forgotten where.
I can’t remember if it’s this new site or the old site.
We did have an old site didn’t we?
