D00D quote
“I renewed my driving licence the other day, not boring enough, took a few minutes online, they never asked for a new photo, it arrived by post three days later.” Unquote

For me being over 70 things are a bit different, first of all the licence has to be renewed every 3 years to start with. Next the photograph was so out of date and in B/W so they wanted a more recent one in colour and didn’t allow an “online” application although I did try. So sent by post one, and all the forms
Also due to having glaucoma and regular hospital checkups I also have to fill in a medical form and give permission for them to get medical recordsWhich they never asked for originally. On tgop of that now not allowed tg drive a 15 seat bus without a driving test and a load more restrictions.

What they should check but don’t is how many driving convictions/accidents one has, I have a clean licence, and over a certain amount (ie 3) be made to take a retest as obviously unsafe to drive

Sue? Mind you, he could use twister to determine the optimum size and shape, and newfound embroidery skills to create a personal liner for it.

A man has a headache for 7 years and tried everything his DR suggested. Eventually someone suggested he had is testicles removed which might have been the cause. So he had this operation and instantly his headache was gone.
So happy was he that he could go out without any pain he decided to get a new suit.
At the mens outfitters
shop assistant " how can I help you sir?"
Man “I want a new suit please”
shop assistant " just got to take a few measurement then , chest 48" waist 32" inside leg 34. Now lets see underpants size 34 "
“No” said the man I always get size 30"
Shop assistant " Sir with that size underpants it will give you a headache"

delete- can’t word it properly without it seeming a tad rude. Sorry.

Before I had to stop running Dachs, I used to love running in the rain, and some of my best outings were done under cloudy skies. But now I tend to dawdle quite a bit taking in the sights and sounds of nature and it can be a bit uncomfortable with wet clothes as I feel the cold more these days and don’t go out in just shorts and waterproof top much. I still do wear a minimum of clothes on my daily 2 or 3 mile jog/walk first thing in the mornings because old habits die hard and I run as far as I can and keep warm. (old runners never die we just cut down the speed and distance)

Which brings me seamlessly into realspeeds problem of boredom…
I’ve deduced that you can’t be bored and tired at the same time…So go out for a run…or a walk if you can’t run, and don’t come back home until you feel tired. You will be happy to flake out on the sofa and do nothing…It works for me…

You could join The Cloud Appreciation Society.

Upload some pics.

See the sky as being an everchanging extension of your garden.

That is way too far above my head

I like that idea!
I’ve always fancied myself in something a bit 18th dynasty.
Stylish yet not too lavish.
B&Q here I come.
