Hi
Just finishing the Lounge and Conservatory in my new house.
I decided to get rid of everything and start afresh, no carried over memories.
Everything looks good except for the last thing that I have bought.
A purple flowery two seat sofa, a contrast piece picking out one colour in the curtains.
Looked great in the photos, even better when I went to view it, it fitted in with the owners decor .
I have just put it in the lounge and it looks horrible, a complete disaster.:shock:
Have any of you ever had a decor disaster?

I have a design guru Swimmy aka Mrs B so no I haven’t, but yours is easily rectified I would suggest just by the addition of a fleece throw of a requisite shade perhaps ?

Oh Gawd!!!..flowery curtains AND a flowery sofa :shock:…get rid of the curtains…quick…get nice plain neutral coloured ones :-p
I know. I shall get rid of it immediately.
I’m not keen on flowery anything except flowers but we have all been forced into 60’s styles by the shops. I prefer plain.

Really?..I don’t have anything flowery in My House…except flowers of course…I just hope SF doesn’t have flowery flock wallpaper too:mrgreen:…everythin’s comin’ up roses…what a gay day
