I remember when it was either cracker barrel or the regular cheeses. My mum used to always buy caerphilly. Haven’t seen it for years.
what did the cheese say when it looked in the mirror?
Ok, so fromage frais - is it really cheese?
No we have Lilds and Aldi though…Have used Morrison’s pre Brexit and they where really reliable with the orders via mouse2house…it’s a shame really how now anything I order from the UK is taxed so much…but guess that works also your side… I got new glasses recently from a really good online Optican and they sort out the custom forms so although it does take longer it gets to us over the channel
@Morticia - LOL - trust you to spot the typo! Mind you Camembert would fit the bill.
If I were going for any french cheese it would be mature Gruyère or Cantal.
Delicious!
Yes and Yes! There are several UK producers of Goats milk cheese. It is excellent on toast as well!
But it is unhealthy…is that not a concern then…
How? First time I’ve heard that.
I already posted earlier about it Mort
We’re not talking about eating a shed load of it on a regular basis Di.
Just an occasional treat.
Well nobody talked of just treats…is that in the rules though?
goats cheese is superb
lovely this time of year cheese and crackers
At least I know my wants for Very Mature Cheddar is not that healthy either…not a treat though eat tonnes of it…well tonnes over a life time
Looked like some sort of mould - but whatever floats your boat as they say.
mould is a killer so best not go there …
so what about blue cheeses?
Tis true … you should see Mr M’s socks some times. I meant the nails, not the cheese.
You know there are loads of posts on this thread that have made me laugh and I want to like them but I can’t give any more likes today as I’ve run out … I got a little carried away trying to earn a badge for 500 likes in one day … I got as far as about 460. No more likes allowed.
And my clicking finger is worn down.
I like halloumi - so will give that recipe a try, Dex.
Cheese and grapes not a thing? Seems a healthy yet decadent option.
