1st Manned SpaceX flight

Thanks for the links Baz!
So far all good, systems working as predicted, very impressive
for a hobbyist project imo?

Donkeyman!

:023: You are more than welcome, it’s good that they were useful to you Donkeyman.

US astronauts Doug Hurley and Bob Behnken will dock to the International Space Station (ISS) later.

Their ship is due to attach to the ISS at around 14:30 GMT (15:30 BST).

It will be a fully automated procedure; Hurley and Behnken won’t need to intervene unless there is a problem.

This new breed of astronaut does a lot of thumb-twiddling …

This is out of this world coverage, literally, like being an astronaut. http://www.sherv.net/cm/emoticons/horror/green-alien-spaceship-smiley-emoticon.gif

Watching live docking now, astounding picture clarity.

100m and closing …

30m …

10m …

Soft-capture confirmed …

Retraction ongoing …

Hard capture complete …

Docking complete.

Some good news the world can share, hoping all continues to go well.

I am especially interested, as Doug Hurley was born and raised in Endicott, NY, 40 minutes from my hometown. The TV coverage is so upbeat it’s like cheering on your favorite baseball team, only better!

Vestibule pressurization commencing.

A proud day for USA. http://www.sherv.net/cm/emoticons/drink/champagne-popping-smiley-emoticon.gif

Thanks Cinderella

Yes, thanks, Cinderella! We need something to be proud about lately.

What time is astronaut ingress … :?:

Have got 360 HD Camera to film their arrival at ISS, you’re most welcome Mags.

That’s at 4.30pm according to the link below:
