Oh totally meaningless. I was banned from a forum about ten years ago along with most of the other members just before it closed down. When I realised, I re-joined so quickly I didn’t have time to consider a new username. All history, but the name kinda stuck.

This has all the elements: great songwriting, satisfying vocals, enjoyable melody, compelling story told in a few short minutes, a phenomenal instrumental solo (at 4:45)…and in this case, even a little alliteration.

Running On Empty is my favourite Jackson Browne track. It’s rather more gutsy than his normally more reflective songwiting and a great “road” song.
