Stench was appalling. Why can they not wait until closing time?

I had much the same thing when I went for my coffee yesterday. Apparently someone came in with a dog who threw up on the floor and they used a pungent smelling detergent to clean it up. Almost put me off my muffin.

I don’t want to sound dog unfriendly but that would put me off eating never mind the detergent or any kind of bleach.
You’d think Health & Safety would prevent them using any chemicals that might irritate customers airwaves … what if an asthmatic was in there.
