At the shopping centre, at the patisserie, choosing a product I hear - “No No No, don’t take that one, that is an old one.”
Attendant reaches below the counter and hands me another one.
“This is a fresh one”
Gusman admonished by staff Pleading face
How often do you receive a verbal slap on the wrist?
Lets just hope it wasn’t the one she had dropped on the floor.
That was a verbal slap on the wrist???
To me it seemed more like a kind gesture. Someone going beyond the call of duty.
It was the tone of voice she used. Which can come across quite abruptly.
I did thank her for giving me a fresh one.
I feel your pain. I was chastised (I suspect the clerk thought she was helpfully educating me) while I was in the self-checkout line (I already knew what I was doing). The odd thing was that she then hovered over my shoulder, while I continued to do her work. I didn’t say anything (never do), but it occurred to me that the company had insidiously started to train me for a job I was paying them to do.
I wonder, where do I go to pick up my paycheck? Prices certainly aren’t any lower.
Good job she didn’t slap yer bum…
I’ve always thought that stuff should be cheaper if you use the self service.
It’s easier to steal stuff I suppose so it has that advantage.
How very joyless!
No slapping involved…
I think violence is over rated.
I did slip over next to the freezers once and a very concerned member of staff rushed over and plonked a" danger, slippery surface" cone next to me.
Are you sure it was the fresher one though Bretrick ?.
No i have never had a verbal slap and i would not tolerate it anyway.
