Hi
What a downpour, rattling off everything, very strong gusts of winds and I could hear hear branches breaking.

Hi
Thanks for editing that Butterscotch, as you already know I am not the best at knowing where to post.
I rely on you to sort me out.
I am a nightmare TL3, even though I mean no harm to anyone.
Well almost anyone.
Hope theres not to much damage .
We are further east here so we are escaping the worst of it tonight…
Hi
Been upstairs to answer a call of nature, back bedroom ceiling has a large damp patch and sagging plasterwork.
Hope you’ve got emergency cover on your home insurance, looks like you’re going to need that looking at pdq…
Hi
My home insurance has excesses.
ÂŁ250 automatic and ÂŁ150voluntary.
I do have cash in hand and some roofers 3 doors down.
Hopefully a deal can be done by waving ÂŁ20 notes around.
I must of slept through it

[/quote] hi Mr S
No no you’ve got it wrong
Instead of spraying your pillow with sleep easy lavender
Dob a bit of marmite on your pillow
What time did the storm arrive Swim? I am only about 30 miles from you, but we just had some loud thunder around 10.15pm. Maybe you were at the centre of the storm.
Hi
Marmite is a luxury item up here, doffin his flat cap to the southern boss
if ya want some real good stuff try vegemite - got a hit that will take ya breathe away and the roof of ya mouth off! but from someone who eats oxo cubes raw that’s nuffin
Hi
Shortly before I first posted about it Twink.
No advance warning , no rain on the conservatory roof just bang
We have had 2 nights of awful storms, the first night was the worst. I crept downstairs quaking to check on Chloe who was fast asleep, she is a bit deaf these days.
We have had thunder storms for the last two nights,i love them,i sit watching them out of the bedroom window.
I do feel for those who have damage because of them though.
Natures a strang old thing.
Yours must have been a different storm to the one Dex & I heard then, but he is a bit closer to my house!
You need to sort that back bedroom ceiling asap, because the rain must have got in some way and another storm could make it collapse & you are not well enough to cope with that.
Keep a check on the weather forecasts for your area, they are usually accurate & may help you avoid more problems
There have been two thunderstorms here, two nights running.
I welcome them for my very, very dry garden plus it saves me paying even more out on water, to water it.
LOL - did someone move Shropshire while I wasn’t looking?
