I think this last move will be our last. I for one have Dunrovin’
I remember when the A38 was first opened, our main street was empty & so quiet. It isn’t now, in fact apart from the really big lorries it’s worse than before. Too many new homes here. At one stage we were the fastest growing town in Devon.
Nothing wrong with the weather, its the rain thats the problem.
I live in the West Country between Bristol and Bath. More than happy where I am.
Within easy reach of most places that we like to visit, eg Devon Cornwall and Wales. Sometimes wish we could move to South Devon, but then I think about the influx of summer visitors.
So can’t see me moving🙂
We live in a small village in Northamptonshire, and are quite happy here. My only worry is that once I can no longer drive we will become isolated - however, I can’t stand the thought of the upheaval a move would create, all of that sorting out of over 40 years worth of ‘stuff’.
