As I live by the seaside, there was hundreds of people, some in fancy costumes, making a dive for the sea in New Year’s day. Good for them, but no way would I think about doing it. Besides, it was freezing cold.

We’ll, looking at it like that I’m always ready to rise to a challenge, well usually anyway.
There are exceptions, always best to leave some wriggle room so to speak
