Worlds Strongest Umbrellas

Would you pay £95 for one?

How many of those cheap ones have blown inside out and been ruined by the wind?

I think the most I’ve paid for a brolly is £10…

I’ve read some umbrellas are over £300…:open_mouth:

I always buy cheap ones because I lose them . No I wouldnt buy an expensive one I’ve not seen these umbrellas I wonder why they are so expensive what are they made of ?

I’ll still got some from 25 years ago, corporate gifts, they’re tough, no idea how much they cost.

I buy the $10 Bunnings golf umbrellas they are pretty good and at that price I don’t mind advertising the company.

Cannot remember the last time I used or even owned an umbrella.

Nah, I never pay more than a fiver because I’ll just leave on the train

Can’t even remember how many I’ve done that with but it must be twenty or more….

I just get wet. Umbrellas are a pain. Besides I can’t be trusted with one I’m likely to have someone’s eye out with it

I have 5 umbrellas, but have rarely used any. Two have Thelwell ponies on them, two are those deep ones you can see through & one is a very ‘posh’ pale blue with tassels, more like a sun shade.

I never pay more than a tenner. I have one that telescopes quite small so I can fit it in even my small handbags. I’ve had it for several years - no doubt saying that is my cue to go and lose it now

I really cannot remember the small cost, but I always renewed mine via the BR lost property clearance sales; I would hazard a guess that these days all lost property is sold off to the spivs who buy in job lots then move them on into a retail environment.

I’ve also left umbrellas in shops on the bus, if I paid £95 for an umbrella, I’d make darn sure I never left it in places.id probably have a strap attached to it, then keep it on my shoulder,

I won’t be paying £95 for any umbrella.:open_mouth:

I have had a ‘walking umbrella’ for many years. For those unaware of the term it is a normal umbrella and appears just like any other black gentleman’s umbrella, but with a stronger staff intended to support the user when walking, not that I needed a walking stick when I bought it (and, happily, still don’t!).

Although it is a strong umbrella, I can’t be sure that it would never blow inside out.

I did, many years ago, and I still have it. It’s 6 feet in diameter and I use it whenever I go fishing and it starts to rain or I hide under it to keep the sun off me.

I don’t think I have either.

Spooky or what?
I move a jacket from a peg and underneath was a collapsible umbrella.
