It seems that every house we moved into, this being the fifth the previous owners didn’t care about looking after where they were living
The one we are now in needed a lot of money to put right. The previous owner had it left to them by the lady they looked after until she died.

what ever he touched he bodged.
If i listed what needed to be done not only blow you mind away but also ask why buy it in the first place.
if I listed everything you would fall asleep reading it. He even ran a 240V power cable under the carpet, then again burnt so much wet wood in the fireplace a chimney sweep 2 doors down said if we had lit it the whole house would catch fire with the amount of soot in it.
this is not even including an oven in the kitchen so greased up inside it could not b e used let alone the grill not working. OR put another way to put it all as it should be cost £10s of thousand of pound to put right .
Some people are just a danger to themselves
Now happily everything that needed doing is done and was or is it worth it you may ask?
when you think value wise it had more than doubled in price since we bought it 10 years ago (agents quote) and soon hopefully if we sold (which we have no intention of everdoing) we would be expecting to get not far off a 7 figure price bracket in the same time frame
