I’ve just read the article and noted " According to The Verge, Apple has pulled the Worlde clones from App Store, so if you’re an iPhone user, you shouldn’t have to worry."
Well I’ve just checked, and there are at least two apps called Wordle, and I counted 14 copycat games by various names - there were more but I stopped counting. So I don’t think Apple are dealing with the clones at all!
