Finally took me a while, but yes still surprising in the daily word
The first time I heard it was during the Beatles invasion of the US! We never use it, not unless we are speaking with a Brit. Just like a foreign word to us, like gesundheit…

I’ve got a new system!
Instead of varying the first word, usually a word with lots of vowels e.g. ADIEU, AIDES, BEAUS etc.
I use yesterday’s solution word to start with, so far so good got today’s in 4

I was pleasantly surprised you guessed it because it’s pretty obscure if you’re across the pond. Seem to be no boundaries with this game.
