I think the USA and the rest of us could do with another festival.
We need a lot less hate and a lot more bonding.(Preferably without pot and acid)
Jefferson Airplane. White Rabbit.

An absolute disaster turned into a memorable triumph…
Who wasn’t in love with Grace Slick?
Where’s the fun in that?
That sounds like the original recording from Airplane’s Surrealistic Pillow. I have the LP somewhere.
I was a big fan of all their incarnations. Can’t remember al the LPs of theirs I have, I have Volunteers, Bark and Blows Against the Empire for sure but probably others
I did relax quite often with pot but only ever had one tab of acid.It was in the Middle Earth Club in Covent Garden but it gave me horrible hallucinations so just the once
In fact, I really don’t think all that stuff is necessary. Participating at an outdoor live music event should be uplifting enough! It’s just a matter of concentrating on being completely “taken” by the music and the atmosphere and get totally lost in the magic they create.
Are you talking about Mushrooms?
Oh no, but eating a pizza with “champignon” mushrooms and lots of mozzarella is a great feeling !
Woodstock is so close to my town. One of my girlfriends/classmates was at the Woodstock event, so we took a trip to revisit it when she was here on vacation in 2017.
A few pics…
The field with the white tent. Did you check that out?
That field is where all the audience stayed. From the top to the front where the plaque is, (where the stage and performers were), filled with people, if you recall.
Since then, there is the distillery, and the museum.
According to Wiki actually choosing the site got quite complicated.
I know they didn’t appear there but I’ve always like this version of Joni Mitchell’s song.
Matthews Southern Comfort. Woodstock.
Wiki says:
Joni Mitchell’s song “Woodstock” never reached the UK charts as a single under her own name. However, the song was a hit in the UK when covered by the band Matthews Southern Comfort, reaching number one on the UK Singles Chart in October 1970. Joni Mitchell’s version of “Woodstock” was the B-side to her single “Big Yellow Taxi”.
With the current state of this country (USA), do you really think you could get a group of Americans together without politics coming up,
There was Vietnam going on,I’m sure there were different opinions about that?
