Mummy, daddy, with two young children all riding along the pavement on electric scooters today. I managed to move out the way before they hit me.
They were all wearing helmets, but maybe i should be wearing one too for my own safety!

That’s the trouble with E-scooters, they aren’t much good Off Road
I am not sure of the law in ACT but in NSW e-scooters are actually illegal, it is just that the police turn a blind eye if they are ridden reasonably.
But the police can charge you with having an unregistered and uninsured vehicle if they want.
This is in Queensland
