Now I have the panasonic G9ii version my thoughts turned to using a wireless remoter shutter trigger/receiver. I spent a lot of time serching for such but all that came up was for the G9 only. Even Pansonic only offer a wired remote, which is no good to me ,and they wanted a stupid amount for it, around £60. No way am I paying that, so I dived into my spare parts box and guess what, I FOUND WHAT I WAS AFTER. I have exactly the item made by Pixel the “Oppillas” . Cost £29 and wireless as well. not only works on the G9 but the G9ii as well.
The rfeaso wanting this is because a camera Can be set up near to say a birds feeding station/ drinking bowl. Then it won’t disturb the birds/animals
so who is a happy chappie now
