Any Windows 11 techies out there? I have two W11 machines: a desktop and laptop and one Bluetooth speaker. I can’t figure out why, on the desktop I can hear sound through either the built in speaker or the external bluetooth speaker, but with the laptop I hear both speakers. With the laptop I just need to switch on the bluetooth speaker and it starts working alongside the computers speaker, but with the desktop I have to change system settings everytime.

Give this a try:
Note down your laptop settings and compare them with those of your desktop.
On one or both of your devices may have an application like Waves MaxxAudio (an audio suite that enhances the audio performance of Dell systems) - this, too, will have settings to be noted.
