In 1967 The Classics IV based in Atlanta Georgia released “Spooky”, which was previously an intrumental hit for saxophonist Mike Sharpe.
Lyrics were added and the song became a hit reaching Number 3 on Billboard’s Top 100 on Feb 10th,1968.
The song remained in the top 20 for 13 weeks.
