162 clues(40%) done of a 406 clue Crossword Puzzle done. No mistakes, no misses.
After 20 plus years of doing these large puzzles and never having completed one without errors or omissions…
We will find out tomorrow.

Good luck Bretrick. I’ve never completed one either, so I gave up doing them when Bobby Charlton retired and I discovered Sudoku…

I don’t have much luck with crosswords.They are either too easy or too hard.

When I was working I used to complete the Sydney Morning Herald cryptic crossword every day except Friday.
I say “complete” but occasionally I would only get within one or two clues of complete, probably got it all only 80% of the time.
On Friday the crossword was set by David Astle, his brain works in a completely different way to most of the world, I gave up even trying to complete his puzzles.

I used to do the Daily Telegraph crossword regularly and I usually got it completed. Them I stopped and replaced it with computers.
